I'm Alyssa Dawn

I am a licensed cosmetologist based out of The Comfort Zone Salon in Amherst, Ohio.  My specialty is hair extensions and hair loss solutions alongside custom color ranging from lived in blondes and brunettes to vibrant rainbows and vivid color.

I'm a big believer that it is never "just" hair, it's self expression and self care. 

​

The time you spend in my chair is 100% your time, so if you want to spend it talking about everything under the sun, totally silent, or getting some work done it is totally up to you.

 

On the topic of time, I like to take mine. I don't double book, and I don't like to rush and miss the little details.

I take pride in continually seeking advanced education so that I can always offer you the best experience and results. I have recently been certified through Mesh Mastery, which is one of the techniques I use for hair extensions and toppers. Instead of a traditional sew in, using a soft piece of flexible mesh as the foundation makes hair extensions and toppers possible for those with more advanced hair loss, which is super duper exciting if you ask me.

When I'm not in the salon, you can find me at the gym, hunting the thrift, or nose deep in a book. I love music, wish I could play an instrument, and drink enough coffee to put the energizer bunny to shame so I can work on my many craft projects. (currently working on a suit of armor for the renaissance fair)
